In Marie's Words - 'Funny Moments'

There are so many! The nights out were the best. Racing down Airdrie main street in shopping trolleys, all dolled up to the nines. The time that guy came round Falcon Street on his motorbike and we hid in the bathroom, the morning after Rosalie dragged me along Douglas promenade by the scruff of the neck after someone gave me a puff on a “funny” cigarette and my legs turned to jelly coming out of the nightclub. I was laid out on the bus helter bench ready for a kip, and I could hear you pacing up and down saying “How the hell am I gonna get you home? “ Hilarious !! That New Year’s eve party in Airdrie when that numpty came dancing in wearing a tie and we arrived home with a “carry out” of a pair o’ socks and a bottle of vodka innocently “lifted from that taxi office? What about that weekend when Rosalie, Pat, Rena, Louise and Janice came over to the Isle of Man? We had such a laugh! I can honestly say I have never had a boring or uneventful night out (or in) with any of my sisters; they have all got a brilliant sense of fun and are always up for a laugh.
